Description

Cache number 10 of 10 for Series 2 of the GCA 10th Anniversary celebration caches.

Great walk along the cliffs and some great lookout on the way. Do take some time to enjoy the views and don't forget the camera.

Just off the track, be careful it gets very busy in this area so look inconspicuous!

"There's a great spot to sit and gaze down at the view while you write in the log and you should be pretty well out of sight of passers by who will probably be also gazing out at the view so not looking your way."

Obviously don't follow the way I went as there is no possibility of being out of sight & no view but a heck of a lot of steps.

Sign posted tracks - unless they're accompanied by flashing lights I'd miss them.

My attempt at humour for the day.

All I can say about this location is Wow! That's all that can be said - wow! Yep - WOW!

We parked in Gordon Rd just near Cliff Dr and walked down the signposted track there. This was a great access spot with a very enjoyable walk and great views. There are some huge drops round here (and blossom*s are NOT keen on heights) but I felt quite safe on the walking track.

Again I used the "20m straight ahead" location to sus out the likely GZ area as my gps stopped moving, and this worked well. Strike-a-light had a bit of a scout around and then I spotted a safe looking place to go and found the cache straight away.

There's a great spot to sit and gaze down at the view while you write in the log and you should be pretty well out of sight of passers by who will probably be also gazing out at the view so not looking your way.

Thanks for this rogerw3. Did I say wow!

I think this is the one I came in via Olympic Rock. Went down the steps & came to a sign - an old sign but it checked out - that I was entering the NP. Anyway wandered down along the track to the apparent GZ but no idea where it might be placed. I was probably 20 metres below the cache. Upon my return I tried to find a track that might take me along the top but ....Thanks. (My apologies to Star Wars for the plagiarism).

Nice find at lumch although a bit further to walk to this one than some of the others nearby. Came in from Tarpeian Rock Track, which was a bit wet. Great hide.
